PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk ("Perusahaan") didirikan pada tanggal 3 November 1993 dengan nama PT Adhihutama Manunggal oleh Harjanto Tirtohadiguno dan keluarga mereka yang memfokuskan kegiatan usahanya di bidang properti. Perusahaan mengubah namanya menjadi PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk dengan akta tertanggal 19 September 2007 no. 71 dibuat oleh Misahardi Wilamarta, SH, notaris di Jakarta. Pada tanggal 18 Desember 2007 perusahaan tersebut menjadi perusahaan publik dengan penawaran umum di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
