DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Ensure all purchasing activities are conducted in line with the Jotun Purchasing Policy to safeguard the integrity of the function and contribute to a professional and responsible Jotun image in line with company strategy Actively utilize best practices for material planning and purchasing. Ensure duty or tax exemptions for relevant dutiable items are applied for with the relevant authorities. Assist in assessing new and existing vendors and closely communicate the results with raw material purchasing manager. Maintenance and updating of data such as RM prices, credit terms, lead times, etc in the IFS system to ensure adherence to contracts. Update of tools such as the supplier delivery performance tracker, to ensure optimum delivery performance. Assist manager in tasks such as forecasting and updating of standard purchasing tools and reports. Identification of slow and non-moving stocks and recommend to manager or stakeholders for action. Coordinate with Demand Planning team, Plan RM requirements, place orders, and coordinate incoming raw material deliveries to meet production demand on time while keeping minimum stock, in accordance to prices and allocations set by purchasing category managers. Coordinate with clearing agents, ensuring that documentations and other paperwork are properly prepared in accordance to requirements, and liaise with them on shipment arrival and deliveries. Assist in supplier audits when required, prepare audit reports, and follow up on actions. Remain up to date about RM import requirements – both from a legal and internal Jotun perspective, e.g. governmental import regulations, HSE requirements, etc. Meet and/or exceed stock management targets (seamless supply, stock days, stockouts, obsolete stock, etc) via proactive action. Actively try to understand demand patterns and requirements of stakeholders to effectively supply the designated factory with raw materials. Assist and participate in forecasting activities with various concerned stakeholders, e.g. production, sales and marketing to ensure timely availability of Raw Materials. Work in adherence to relevant KPIs to uphold raw material purchasing performance.
REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent. At least 1-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Required Skill(s): Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Skill, Negotiating Skill Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
