DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Leads group to deliver new product & processing designs to the company's network. Contributes to the realisation of the business strategy by technical innovation and capability development. Scopes R&D projects by assessing R&D program proposals and provides advice to the Head of R&D and Director of Manufacturing. Executive R&D projects by leading the program delivery, monitoring progress and being responsible and accountable for successful delivery and cost management through the full life cycle of the project. Proposes the technical product architecture of the product design. Offer and identifies opportunities to innovate and optimize processing capabilities and performance. Has the responsibility to lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of new technology applications from design to commercialization and qualification in close collaboration with key stakeholders within the manufacturing network with full adherence to consumer design specifications. Driving day to day performance and programmes within the network. Communicates and supports best practice processing into local applications for Instant processing technology applications. Manages and builds Instant R&D teams to ensure continued execution & project delivery. Leads and manages talent management within the team to find future managers and leads best practice setting. Ensures smooth communication and collaboration with external suppliers. Reports to Head of Instant R&D on a weekly basis.
REQUIREMENT

Education in an Engineering food related technical fleld (e.g., Biochemistry, Food Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering); Lean Six Sigma Certified >10 years proven track record with process technologies in the food industry (R&D and Operations). >5 years organization development and people management. Interaction and influence at a senior management level. Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, food safety, product/process design and commercialization. Broad technical knowledge of food categories processes, technologies, ingredients and formulae ; Broad business knowledge and integration of Manufacturing, Research and Business strategies ; Expert in internal stakeholder management & building excellent relationships with outside partners (equipment suppliers, 3rd party manufacturers); Sound understanding of HACCP food safety, legal, environmental and regulatory parameters; Experience and knowledge of several product processing categories Operating in diverse environments
