Provide operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data & trends. Carry out Process Improvement, Process Optimization, Problem Resolution, Project Management, Reporting and Employee Training. Improve existing manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement, efficiency, environmental quality and energy conservation. Research, trial, evaluating results and implement new technologies/ equipment/ process/ consumable items (e.g. nozzle assembly, filter, and etc.) for cost-reduction, quality improvement, efficiency, environmental quality & energy conservation. Assist in CAPEX projects which significant impact overall business strategy (e.g. commissioning new manufacturing line). Assist in CAPEX projects (green or brownfield) designing the factory layout (e.g. process, human, material, waste flow). Generate, document, present and execute plans for the above. Coordinate deployment including training of the team. Communicate and gain alignment with internal stakeholders. Able to work with cross-functional teams. Responsible to monitor the bag filter performance as following the DOE requirements. Assists factory operations in improving the system of production control, SOPs, best practices, learnings, safety, quality control and training. Participate in investigating complaints. Identify root cause & make recommendations to site management team for short term/ permanent fixture To minimise product variability and maximise product safety through the application of statistical analysis to key processes. To minimise product rejects and rework product. Coordinates with business on the manufacturing launch of New/ Transferred Products including establishing targets & objectives, training the team members and evaluating the results. Collaborate with cross-functional team (e.g. R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain) on the commercialization process. Protect information and materials provided to 3rd parties (e.g. vendors, suppliers, consultants, etc.) by ensuring appropriate procedures and followed and parties are bound by company confidentiality agreements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Contacts with external parties/agencies and contact internally with all plant employees. Work with Production Managers to continuously improve on the production plant’s capabilities and productivity, process capabilities, improve cycle times, product quality and produce more with fewer resources without compromising on HSE. Shall frequently visit the production floor to coordinate and monitor production, direct the resolution of operational issues and oversee other production related issues
