Assist Software Team in investigating and debugging software issues. Use the first-hand knowledge you will gain to implement better logging, fix bugs, and make other improvements and features in the codebase to fix issues in a timely and efficient manner. Test software releases and help design & build our test suite and procedures, to ensure a high level of quality is maintained. Have programming experience through other internships. A driven problem-solver, who can deeply investigate issues and find solutions. Passionate about helping customers get up and running, and get the most value out of their HR Software product. Ready to dive in and learn whatever code/software infrastructure you don't already know (application logging, Windows drivers, test suites, etc.). Ready to work on self-directed projects with a high-caliber team. Strong and demonstrated experience in the use of structured testing methodologies & principles. Proven experience in HR/Payroll software testing is desired, but not essential. Hands-on experience with software product test planning, execution, following up on defects. Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills (written and verbal). Flexibility and willingness to learn varied software products. Time Management & Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. To prepare test documentation accurately and efficiently (in English). To perform day-to-day software testing of the company’s products and enhancements, as directed by Test Lead/Manager. To proactively and proficiently identify & follow up on software product defects. Assist in developing/deploying test processes and methodologies. Comply with existing quality and testing standards.
