plan and draw up a production schedule in agreement with our supply chain production managers
ensure container load planning is correct and effectively used
evaluate resources that are required within each supplier organization and report bottlenecks
ensure stock levels remain adequate
ensure equipment maintenance of our production at each facility
set the quality standards
ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with suppliers
monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed in conjunction with supplier management
monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes
liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
ensure customers compliance standards are continually met
ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
ensure customer orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met
work with supplier management to implement the company's policies and goals
collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
supervise and motivate a team of workers
review worker performance and identify training needs
REQUIREMENT
Over 5 years' experience in manufacturing operation
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent project management skills
Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as as a group
