DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

The appointee will report to the Director of the University Planning Office. He/She will work closely with the Director and his team, in proactively supporting the Provost's Office, as well as Faculty and Departmental planning with the following duties: (a) drafting presentations, manuals, proposals, and policy papers; (b) extracting information crucial to planning via independent research or through communication with parties internal or external to the University; (c) organising and hosting events such as conferences, visits, and forums; (d) preparing meeting agenda and minutes for meetings; and (e) undertaking other duties as assigned by the Director.
REQUIREMENT

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree; (ii) at least seven years' post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in higher education; (iii) high motivation to complete tasks independently and punctually; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) strong communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member and under pressure; (vi) sound knowledge of computer-based reporting tools and statistical applications, plus good analytical, numeracy and IT skills; (vii) sensitivity for handling restricted and confidential data; (viii) substantial experience in drafting presentations, proposals, and policy papers; and (ix) excellent organisational skills and the ability to pay attention to details. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
