DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Evaluate and select components and new technologies for products based on product vision and customer experiences.
Design, develop, and/or review consumer hardware systems and sub-components. Set factory test requirements, assist in software bring-up, and travel on-site to the manufacturer to ensure the design is built and tested successfully.
Create system specifications and plan/lead validation of designs. Lead complete functional verification, signal characterization, power modeling/testing, and system coexistence testing.
Drive resolution of cross-functional issues including those related to architecture (e.g., performance and power consumption), production (e.g., quality, failure analysis, and manufacturing), and development (e.g., schematic design/review, PCB layout, and overall system integration).
Work with and manage suppliers/manufacturing partners to establish mutually beneficial relationships for future product designs.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in consumer electronics/embedded system design
Experience with prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support. Experience working within a lab-based environment and in circuit board level design engineering.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
