DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Administration of databases, which includes planning, installing and configuring of database server(s) and clustered MS-SQL platform(s) Implementation of database changes for external and hosted Customers Trend analysis reporting and resource management, problem Solving Create and oversee implementation of database policies and procedures to ensure integrity and availability Provide technical consultancy and assist and advise external customers on technical issues related to MS-SQL databases as the backend of software products build by CSS Validate database requirements and perform database upgrades Maintain professional knowledge, via formal and personal training Assist and provide technical information to other teams (sales; development; TCS) Bridge development and technical teams on technical issues related to MS-SQL DB environments
REQUIREMENT

Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent At least 5 years related working experience Preferably with OCA/OCP or MCTS (SQL Server 2008/2012)/MCITP (Database Administrator 2008/2012) certification Experienced with SQL/T-SQL, procedures, functions Experience with MS-SQL Failover Clustering (implementing multiple clustered database instances Familiar with best practice implementations such as SQL/DNS aliasing, Management Data Warehousing, automated scripting, and job automation, SQL Server performance tuning Proficient in Windows Server 2008/2012 installations and performance tuning Experience in Active Directory Topologies and familiar with Storage backend technologies Exposure to Oracle 10g and UNIX is a plus Able to work autonomously and be flexible with regards to working hours Service and customer oriented Good English verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical documentation
