    Responsible for the overall management of the Maintenance Department that includes planning, monitoring and controlling the activities to support Management requirements in improving the cost, quality and efficiency in production. Provide technical support and expertise in the maintenance of production hardwares and supporting facilities that related to operation activities. Apply preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected machinery breakdown or down time on production line(s) and supporting equipment for better productivity and cost effectiveness. Ensure cost effectiveness, quality and efficiency of services in the procurement activities and the administrative functions in the controls/accountability of spare parts in terms of inventory and utilization. Conduct machinery failure case study and spearhead for process improvement and mechanical upgrading. Optimize the utilization of resources by implementing new methods/designs, suitable PLC or other engineering upgrading to improve the existing manufacturing processes and methodology. Participate in the design and construction of all major facilities to support the entire manufacturing activities to ensure that these facilities are safe, operational, reliable, cost effective and efficient. To maintain good working relationship with The Top Management, Head of Departments and other Third Party Organizations such as the relevant Government regulatory bodies, vendors, suppliers etc. for better coordination

    Responsible for the preparation of purchase orders and documents in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Update and maintain the purchasing programs to reflect the most up-to-date situation. Amend ARTWORKS in conjunction with the GM (Admin) base on customers' requirements. To assist Management and HOD in sourcing, selection and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms and punctual deliveries with the suppliers. Assist to supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to ensure conformance with specifications. Assist to gather and analyse information to support purchasing decision at most competitive cost. Actively involved in issues related to suppliers' qualification, selection and negotiation processes in conjunction with the HOD. Keep informed of the current prices and market situations for all active materials being used by the factory and latest offer from suppliers for actively used items. Assist to oversee that the Raw Material Store is updated with the latest information. Alert the relevant sections/personnel of any major changes in terms of delivery date, quality and quantity. Monitor and to make sure that POs are closed in PO Register upon complete receipt of goods from suppliers. Ensure all invoices are sent to Accounts department for cross references and payment. Make suggestions for improvement on accuracy and work efficiency. Responsible to monitor and to review minimum stock/stock reorder levels periodicaly. Maintain and perform supplier assessments periodically for efficient operations of the puchasing function
