On July 1, 1967, the Japanese school was upgraded to "National Taiwan Normal University", with four colleges of education, liberal arts, science, and art. After the expansion of the establishment, the funding increased, and the equipment became more and more perfect. It not only provided the school with more diversified teacher training and teaching and research environment, but also more substantial and complete in teaching, research, tutoring, and administrative support training. Since the implementation of the "Teacher Training Law" in 1994, Taiwan's teacher training has adopted a diversified policy, and the school has also actively transformed and developed into a comprehensive university in response to the trend of the times. In addition to the original faculty training institute, a new department that conforms to social changes and is sufficient to lead the development of higher education has been added. At present, it has 9 colleges including education, science, liberal arts, art, sports and leisure, technology and engineering, international and social sciences, management, and music. It has become a diversified comprehensive university with more than 10,000 students in doctoral, master and bachelor's degree programs. Looking forward to the future, the school will build on the rich humanities foundation, implant modern scientific and technological knowledge, continue to cultivate and develop the unique fields of the school, and strengthen internationalization, informationization, and enterpriseization, so that today's teachers and universities can become tomorrow's Masters have made our school a top-notch and world-renowned comprehensive university with the characteristics of "classical elegance and modern vision".
