DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Generates new and repeat business through planned Sales & Marketing activities;
Directly responsible for market areas allocated / designated in all aspects of group rooms and functions; space, contract negotiation, finalizing all details, menu planning and servicing the group once they in house;
Develop business leads, solicit potential clients, service existing accounts, sell all hotel facilities and meet / exceed budgeted revenue and coordination of all activities within Food & Beverage operations;
Sets operational goals, budgets and business plan and monitors achievement of performance and profit objectives;
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve sales volume and financial targets;
To generate new sales opportunity and analyze account profitability and work with sales reps in determining sales techniques, advertising and market penetration;
To thrive in a quota driven environment while remaining focused, organized and flexible;
Responsible for regulatory compliance in areas of responsibility.
REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent;
At least 3 year(s) of successful experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry;
Excellent in planning and organization with outstanding presentation and communication skills;
Experience in selling rooms, banquet & outside catering;
Good contact and rapport with business partners;
Pleasant personality and customer orientated;
Strong leadership & negotiation skills, mature and independent;
Good written and verbal command of English and Bahasa Malaysia;
Good computer knowledge;
With valid Malaysian driving license.
