DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

To execute on the overall marketing and PR strategy for the StartmeupHK initiative including its flagship event, the StartmeupHK Festival, to meet its objectives and KPIs; To produce engaging marketing content that can be re-purposed for different platforms to promote Hong Kong’s latest business environment and opportunities in the startup ecosystem; To oversee and work with external agencies and vendors to create impactful and relevant marketing collaterals including online, offline and videos; To manage content and design of StartmeupHK website and work with external agency on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to boost visibility; To manage the daily maintenance of various digital marketing and social media platforms to grow audience and increase engagement across all platforms; and To perform related administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as requested.
REQUIREMENT

A Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, preferably in journalism, marketing, languages, communications or related field. A higherdegree would be an advantage; Minimum five years of marketing and public relations experience and three years in a manager role; Meet the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or equivalent; Excellent spoken & written English and Chinese communication skills (including Simplified Chinese) Knowledge and hands-on experience in video production and design of marketing collaterals; Knowledge and experience in implementing effective content strategies across marketing channels; and Knowledge and good understanding of Hong Kong’s business environment especially the startup ecosystem, knowledge and experience in investment promotion, marketing communications or economic development would be an advantage.
