Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their reporting and analytical requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and requirements.
Design and develop data models to support reporting and analytics.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
Create data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and support decision-making.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies and initiatives.
Monitor the performance of BI solutions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability.
Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting procedures.
Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI tools and interpret reports.
Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and other IT professionals to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure they understand and can utilize BI insights.
REQUIREMENT
Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of database design and optimization is crucial.
Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Looker. Familiarity with their functionalities and the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.
Understanding and experience in ETL processes, including tools like Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies, including the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
